Turning Product Page Friction into Bundle Sales

Flux Active sells co-ordinated men’s and junior tracksuits, with customers often looking to buy the full matching set rather than a single item in isolation. But the website experience didn’t reflect how people actually shopped the range.

To build a complete tracksuit, customers had to move between separate product pages, choose sizes for each item individually, and add everything to their basket one piece at a time. For a brand built around matching sets, that created unnecessary friction at the exact point customers were ready to buy.

The product page also had room to work harder. Key information was sitting too far down the page, switching between colourways meant going back to the collection, and the add-to-basket button disappeared as customers scrolled. The opportunity was clear: make the complete look easier to buy, reduce unnecessary steps, and give customers everything they needed to make a decision from one product page.

What we did for Flux Active

We made a series of changes to the Flux Active product pages, all focused on reducing the effort required to go from browsing to buying.

Bundled "Complete the Set" mechanic

We introduced bundle functionality directly on the product page. Customers select their size for the top and bottoms in one place, see the combined price clearly, and add the complete set to their basket in a single click, with no modal windows or extra steps.

Colour cross-linking

We added direct colour cross-linking so customers can switch between available colourways without leaving the page.

Sticky add-to-cart button

We introduced a persistent add-to-cart button that stays visible as the customer scrolls, so they can act whenever they’re ready.

Delivery messaging

We introduced dynamic delivery messaging near the add-to-basket button, giving customers a clear indication of when they can expect to receive their order. Removing uncertainty around delivery timing reduces hesitation at the point of purchase.

The Results

The changes gave customers a simpler, faster way to buy the full Flux Active look, and the impact was immediate.

In the 26 days after launch, total sales increased by 46%, orders rose by 56%, and add-to-cart rate more than doubled, increasing by 131%. Nearly half of all orders placed during the post-launch period included a bundle, showing that customers were actively using the new route to purchase.

The result was a product page that worked harder commercially, reduced friction for customers, and made buying a complete matching set feel like the natural next step.
