Making Development
…exciting!

“I got into web design around the age of 13, tinkering with Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Macromedia Flash to build themes for a popular gaming community called Clantemplates. That early curiosity about what the web could do never really left me.

After university I built up a freelance career in design and development, which eventually led me to a marketing agency that was making the shift from traditional marketing into digital. I worked across a real mix of projects there, from launching e-commerce stores for smartwatch start ups, to brochure sites for wifi innovators, through to a full scale e-learning platform for the international pharmaceutical brand Fresenius Kabi.

I joined Paramount after that and it’s been brilliant to watch the agency grow from an SEO-first business with a small dev offering into one where development is right at the heart of what we do. I work closely with our head of design and the wider design team to keep everything joined up between how things look and how they’re built.”

about Adam

What do you like to do outside of work?

A bit of everything really. I love a good National Trust day out and I’m always on the hunt for the best beer gardens and pubs to settle into with friends and family. At home I enjoy making pizza and other bits from scratch and I’m rarely without a podcast on in the background. Every now and then I’ll do something a bit mad like jumping out of a plane. More recently I’ve picked up padel with a few of the team from work ironically.

Which project / campaign has been the most satisfying to work on?

Blok Projects has probably been the most satisfying recently. The design team led a brilliant creative process on it and the client gave us proper freedom to push things, which is always when the best work happens. There’s something really rewarding about being handed a design that genuinely challenges you, whether that’s visually or technically and Blok was exactly that kind of project.

Why should clients choose Paramount Digital?

We’re full service these days, not just the SEO agency people might remember us as. The real strength is in how closely the teams work together internally. We don’t settle for okay and that bar gets applied to everything we put our name to.

What Our Customers Say

Paramount understood who our market is, who we need to influence, and how to communicate with them. The tone of voice and professionalism were spot-on. I’ve worked with many agencies, and I’ve had no misgivings about working with Paramount, quite the opposite.

We’ve never felt like an afterthought. Communication is clear, the team is responsive, and they’ve taken the time to really understand our challenges. It feels like a very personalised service.

If we’re being honest, we didn’t expect to see results for six months, but they started coming within the first few weeks. Registrations are now double or triple what they were this time last year. Paramount’s team took the time to understand our niche business model and was incredibly self-sufficient from the start. Communication is …

I have been working with the developers at Paramount (as part of my employment at Socitm) for a few years now, and I am immensely impressed. We have established a great rapport pretty much straight away, with project management tools and great communication. The developers I work with are easy to talk to, understand our …
